Celeste Leeuwenburg was born in Paris and raised in Buenos Aires. Educated in the ateliers of Argentinean artists, filmmakers, and photographers, she studied photography, painting, fashion and art history. Celeste moved back to Paris in 2010 at the invitation of the Cité International des Arts de Paris, as a candidate hand-selected by the city council itself, through which she was given the opportunity to work as an artist-in-residence. Celeste’s work has been exhibited in New York, Paris, Buenos Aires, Uruguay and Madrid. She currently lives and works in France.
